The ongoing seminar series continues with the first talk after the semester break by Eric Alm from the Department of Bioengineering at MIT and Associate of the Broad Institute. The Alm lab develops complementary computational and experimental methods for studying microbial evolution. You can have a look at some of his recent work on http://almlab.mit.edu/publications.html. Eric's work is very varied and original.

The title of his talk here will be: The Ecology of the Human Microbiome in Health and Disease.
