Canada-Israel Collaborations

In laboratories and universities across the country, Canadians are partners in IMRIC’s astonishing research. By bringing Canada and Israel together, key partnerships have been made in research and funding. It is with these collaborations that the diseases that affect us all will be eradicated.

Breast Cancer Research

The IMRIC collaboration between McGill University and Hebrew University brings together two top scientists who have each made their mark in the world of cancer research. Their partnership will bring us closer to understanding how tumors, like organs, develop "stem cells" that circulate and implant themselves in other parts of the body.

Diabetes Research

This IMRIC collaboration partners Hebrew University's Yuval Dor with the University of Alberta's James Shapiro, Director of the Clinical Islet Transplant Program.
