University of British Columbia

This unique IMRIC collaboration brings together experts from three prominent institutions: the University of British Columbia and IMRIC, to share ideas and develop a universal standard of care and treatment for patients with spinal cord injuries.

The collaboration is already making a significant improvement to the treatment of spinal cord injuries, including developing better techniques for stabilizingthe patient after the injury, better standards of care, safer surgery, better recovery of nerve function, and, ultimately, better locomotion.
